We are so excited to give you a sneak peak of some of the latest designs we’ve been working on for debut at the National Stationery Show. This year we’ve added lots of glitter and texture that makes our stationery so fun!

This personalized, fold-over card is so sparkly and girly! It would make note writing just a little more exciting. We love the bright, multi-colored name and the totally whimsical font, but the pattern IN glitter is showstopping. Everyone needs a set of note cards for personal correspondence, but personalized cards also make perfect gifts for girlfriends. These are just too cute NOT to hang on to.

We love the use of glitter on a photo card and this one is the perfect choice for your holiday card. The holidays are a perfect occasion to share a little festive glitter and this card makes that easy. The holiday greeting in PINK glitter is beautiful and especially fun for a family of girlies.

In addition to glittery stationery, we’ve come up with some super fun sparkly phone cases we just know you’ll love. This case is simple, but customizable with your name. In a world where we all use the “same” phone, a case with your name is a fantastic feature.

What a fantastic way to take your favorite photo with you? This glittered case features your name AND a photo of your choosing. We love the idea of using your sweet kids faces on your phone. You can take them everywhere! In addition to the details of this case, the multi-colored look is so bright and happy. This would make an ideal Mother’s Day gift with a cherished photo.

Bright Easter Party

The default color palette for Easter is typically pastel, but we’re challenging that idea and going all bright. We have the most fabulous Easter Egg Hunt invite that is bright on kraft paper and wanted to share some party ideas that would work perfectly with your bright scheme and party.

We just love these bright polka dot balloons and think they would make the perfect addition to any party, especially your bright Easter celebration. Find a variety of colors in The TomKat Studio’s shop.

We just adore this bright Easter party featured on The Hostess with the Mostess. The color scheme of this party has hints of pastel with a bright colors, which is such a fresh take on the traditional look. In addition to the bright decor (hello! bright orange carrots!), the sweets are also coordinated in a bright scheme. Can you imagine your little guests excitement when they see such a color table of sweets?!

We love the bright colors that set up this party, but also the bold chevron pattern. It’s the perfect unexpected punch in the decor. This party is a perfect example of the power of paper. A lot of the theme is carried out with coordinating paper details and we just love that cohesive look. Another bit of decor that is fabulous is the mini pompoms. We’ve all used pompoms for party decor, but the quantity, small size and use one the trellis is a fresh take we adore.

So now we’ve given you the perfect invitation and some fab ideas for your own party, it’s time to get planning. We’re sure your guests — young and old — will love your fresh approach on the typical Easter color scheme.

For the Love of Typography

We love typography and are always into the newest and greatest fonts. We’ve fallen in love with Hipster Script, an award-winning font by the same designer as the ever popular Feel Script font, and wanted to share some other award winners.

Harriet, available here

This show stopping serif font is full of fun variations that could be used at all sizes. We love the flexibility to use a consistent font for the headline and smaller type without sacrificing readability. You’ve gotta love a font with a fun ampersand, which this font has. This could be a great font for a wedding invitation. We love using different weights and cases of the same font to create a piece of typographical art. If the fonts chosen are all from the same family, like Harriet, the look stays cohesive and avoids a scrapbook-y look.

This casual script is so fun for a more playful project. We all dream of having beautiful handwriting, but most of us just don’t have it. This font is perfect for when you want a handwritten look. We especially love handwritten fonts for kid projects and think this could be adorable used on a baby shower or birthday invite. We do suggest using scripts sparingly in a design because they can be hard to read at a small size in a large quantity, but this would be perfect for the guest of honor’s name. Choose a simple font for the large bodies of text.

You may be asking yourself what you could use such a font for, but we love the stripes in the font and in small doses know it would be awesome. Imagine a print with the word “LOVE” or any other small word in a big point size. We definitley don’t suggest using a font like this for small type or body text, but this is the perfect font for a fun GIANT piece of word art.

You may have your standby fonts, but take this as a challenge to find something fresh and uniquely yours. Choosing a font that is less popular can help you stand out from the crowd.

We started the new year with a bang by hosting a booth at the Atlanta Gift Show. We had so much fun decorating our booth to fit our fun and bright company personality. The gift show is such a lively environment filled with beautiful products and happy shoppers. It’s always delightful to spend time at this Gift Show! We love to meet and visit with new people and share our products!

We were pleased to share our booth with the fashion forward Clean Couture. Love their products! The mix of color and patterns in this booth made it the happiest place at the show!

Christmas treats for YOU!

As promised last week, when we shared some delicious and simple Hanukkah treat ideas, here are some fabulous and tasty Christmas treats for you to make this year with your family. Enjoy!

Hot Chocolate Dippers

This one could not be simpler! Dip candy canes in melted chocolate (dark, milk, or even white!), then drizzle with white (or milk) chocolate for added pizzazz. If you choose to get fancy, you could even add a mini marshmellow or two!

Brownie Christmas Trees

Cut brownies into triangles, add a thin candy cane as the trunk, decorate with icing and Red Hots – or any candy of your choosing. Simple, fun, and festive!

Marshmellow Reindeer

For these adorable bites of deliciousness, you’ll need a few more ingredients…large marshmellows, lollipop/popsicle/ or pretzel sticks, ribbon, melting chocolate, cinnamon candy, small pretzels, candied pearls (or other candies) for the eyes.

It’s a tad more labor intensive than the other treats I’ve shared with you, so here are directions…

Break the pretzels in half, you’ll need two halves for each reindeer’s antlers. Count out your cinnamon candies, score the tops of the marshmellows (for the pretzels) and put them on the sticks. Once your assembly line is set, it’s time to melt your chocolate.

Place chocolate melts or chocolate chips in a microwaveable glass bowl. Microwave on high at 20-30 second intervals, stirring each time until chocolate is just melted, but not too hot. Dip a marshmallow into the chocolate, covering it entirely. Use the backside of a spoon to smooth out the side and top, and to remove any excess. Repeat the process on the next marshmallow.

After about five or six marshmallows, add the pretzel antlers, by gently inserting them into the scored parts of the marshmallows, and hold them for a few seconds to make sure they are secure. This might take some practice, so be patient!

For the nose and eyes, you can either add them when the chocolate is still wet, or finish the whole batch, then dab some melted chocolate onto each piece and attach it to the marshmallow to make the face.

Once they are completely dry, tie a small piece of ribbon around the stick like a scarf. Ta da – so very cute!!

So Hanukkah 2012 started a few days ago but for all of our Jewish friends, we thought it would be fun to share some quick and easy ideas for Hanukkah treats. The kids (and adults) will love ‘em! And of course one not need to be Jewish to partake in the yummy Hanukkah goodness!

Marshmellow Dreidels

All you need is marshmellows, pretzel sticks, blue sugar, and some Hershey’s kisses. So easy and fun!

Chocolate Dreidels

These delicious Hanukkah treats are created from Hershey’s kisses, marshmallows, pretzel sticks, and melted semisweet and white chocolate.

Cupcake Menorah

This yummy Hanukkah menorah is so simple! Cupcakes (homemade or store bought, whichever you choose), Twix candy bars, and Peanut M&M’s on top for the candle flame.
